Mittens for Jason

Jason has asked me to knit him some hunting gear. He wants a pair of mittens with the thumb and first finger able to be exposed (to work a gun) but the rest snug and tight in a mitten. I'm going to use this pattern I found at knittingpatterncentral.com as my jumping off point.

We'll see how it goes.
