Papa went smelting last night and since Stomper is too little to go, he thought that the little guy might enjoy some gutting. I'm not sure what Stomper thought they were for, but he had a good time scooping them up and throwing them back down.

Hey ! That's fun and how do you eat them ?
ReplyDeleteThe first one you ever eat is supposed to be raw and whole. However, these were put in a bowl drizzled with oil, dusted heavily with corn meal, sprinkled with black pepper, and then fried with a bit more oil in a fry pan until crispy. I am told they are tastey, but i dont really like fish.
